Principal's Office

I am so excited to be the Principal of Academy School, where I began my own education as a Kindergartner! This is my 16th year In the field of education. Previously, I taught a range of learners from Kindergarten through eighth grade, with third grade at Academy being the most recent. My favorite thing about being a Principal is that I can see all of the students and school staff in action each day. I love to meet family members of students as well.

I live in Brattleboro with my husband, Dave, and daughter, Adria. When I'm not at school, I enjoy being outside, reading, and learning about new technology. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Vermont and my Masters of Education in Special Education from Rhode Island College. I completed a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Educational Leadership and Administration through Southern New Hampshire University in May of 2018.
